Glewstone is a small village around three miles from Ross-on-Wye, a popular market town. The high street features an assortment of shops, independently owned boutiques, a range of restaurants, welcoming pubs and various leisure facilities. There are also several supermarkets plus four schools in the town - three primaries and one secondary, all of which boast 'Good' Ofsted ratings.
Glewstone itself includes the esteemed Glewstone Court Country House which predominantly operates as an esteemed wedding venue, but occasionally holds special events for residents; most recently there was a hog roast to raise funds for a local defibrillator.
The home at a glance
The main entrance into the home leads straight into the kitchen; cream-coloured base-and-wall mounted units are complimented by wood-effect countertops as well as pastel blue and yellow splashback tiling, which gives a subtle pop of colour. In terms of appliances, there is an Indesit double oven with a ceramic hob, a sink with mixer tap, a freestanding washing machine, room for a fridge/freezer and space and plumbing for a compact dishwasher, while the LPG Vaillant combi boiler is housed within a kitchen cupboard.
The kitchen gives access to four other rooms; of the two bedrooms, the largest one carries a view over the rear garden, whereas the other overlooks the front garden and orchards beyond.
In terms of washing facilities, the family bathroom contains a bath with an overhead shower, a vanity unit and a WC.
The sitting room includes a set of sliding glass doors which link it with the triple-aspect conservatory - which gives access to the fully enclosed rear garden. This expanse is predominantly laid to lawn but also boasts flower beds, a patio terrace and a storage shed.
