Sellers Insight:
It is with sadness and regret that we leave this handsome house. Its idyllic rural aspect, glorious sunsets, birdsong and character is hard to find in such a well-connected spot. We will miss the cosy family Christmases, Easter egg hunts in the abundant orchard, homemade apple juice and elderflower cordial, long walks and bike rides, glimpses of snow on the Brecon Beacons; and all with civilisation close by. We have very much enjoyed watching the tractors going about their work, red kites flying overhead, as we enjoy the beautiful expansive garden. So much love has gone into making this an easy economical home with generous space for visiting family or friends. Not isolated nor cut off. The best of both worlds.
This is an all-electric house. No gas. No oil. State of the art room-by room-electric heating. The combination of solar panels, battery storage and eco-efficient heating and hot water means this home costs substantially less to run than most of this size. In 2025 the total electricity bill was £2008.37 which included 7,500 miles of EV charging. And we were comfortably warm without having to be economical!
